English version

After this post about sms car park payment in Croatia here  seen this summer in zadar.
Today a post about a funny system i saw in the north surburb of Paris
The car park is free for 30 minutes and usually you are obliged to use a smal disc to indicate at what time you arrived. The problem is that people are coming to change the time on the disc without moving the car.
So with this system the machin detect when a car is arriving and light in green (left arrow on the picture). When the time is over the orange light on the top is blinking, telling the police people to come and fine...
You really need to move your car in order to let the green light to come back !

People working in shops do this very often in France with standard parking were you can pay for 2 hour only (in order make you move your car and leave place for somebody else), They go out and put some more money. The result is that parking in merchant street is very often taken by ....the merchant themselves.
